ESA develops, organises and coordinates educational and professional-development programmes, including activities delivered in cooperation with independent training organisations, academies, lawyers and other professional contributors.
Where training or another specialist service is delivered by an external organisation or professional, that organisation or professional remains responsible for the service it provides, within the scope of its own role, qualifications and applicable rules.
ESA is not an employer, recruitment agency or job-placement provider. Participation in an ESA programme, consultation, training activity or professional-development experience does not constitute or guarantee employment, a job offer or an employment contract.
Where legal advice or another regulated professional service is provided in connection with a programme, it is provided by appropriately qualified independent professionals, acting within the scope of their own professional authority and jurisdiction.
ESA does not issue visas, residence permits or other public-authority decisions. Decisions on visas, entry, residence, immigration and similar matters rest solely with the competent public bodies.
Decisions on employment, admission, recognition and similar matters taken by employers, academies, institutions or public authorities likewise remain subject to their own criteria, procedures and independent assessment.
Programme invitations, host documents, certificates and completion documents relate only to the programme or activity for which they are issued. They do not in themselves constitute a visa, a right of residence, an offer of employment or the approval of any public authority.
The information published on this website is intended to explain ESA, its programmes and its institutional activities. It should not be read as individual legal advice, nor as a guarantee of any outcome that depends on another organisation, professional or public authority.
