From its base in Bologna, Italy, ESA develops and coordinates programmes that bring together careful preparation, professional learning, training experiences in Europe and a concluding professional and legal orientation.
Preparation comes first. The European academy experience follows, with professional and legal orientation at the conclusion of Stage II.
ESA Elite is the preparation stage of ESA Elite Global Pathway.
Over approximately two months, participants complete 25 instructor-led online hours with Actumea, a French training provider that is Qualiopi-certified for training actions.
The aim is to build useful knowledge and stronger professional awareness before the European stage.
Discover ESA EliteFollowing successful completion of ESA Elite and the applicable programme requirements, participants progress to 30 instructor-led hours with a designated European academy, normally in a cohort of no more than 20 participants.
ESA Elite and ESA Global Pathway are designed to follow one another.
The first stage gives participants time to settle into the programme areas and strengthen their professional foundations. The European stage then lets them build on that work in a different educational and professional setting.
Because the two stages are connected, participants can make fuller use of the programme as a whole.
Alongside the academy programme, participants may take part in professional, educational and cultural activities that help them understand the setting in which they are learning and working.
The intention is to encourage curiosity, professional confidence and a stronger understanding of communication, collaboration and working practices in European settings.
ESA works with a network of independent lawyers and legal professionals qualified to practise in their respective jurisdictions across Europe.
Participants can discuss relevant documentation, professional considerations and practical next steps with a qualified professional.
The lawyers involved remain professionally independent and provide guidance within the scope of their own qualifications and jurisdictions.
ESA Elite Global Pathway combines preparation, instructor-led learning, experience in Europe and professional orientation.
Across the two stages, participants can deepen their knowledge, develop a clearer professional perspective and experience different educational and professional environments.
The programme concludes with informed professional and legal orientation intended to help participants understand the questions that may affect their individual situation and consider what may come next.
